A reminder to all…………..The El Capitan State Beach camping trip is coming right up (May 16th-18th). We need to get everyone registered so we can make camp site assignments. El Capitan is yet another trip that you don’t want to miss. El Capitan is located in the Santa Barbara area. You don’t get a chance to camp at such beautiful location very often. You’ll want to take advantage of opportunity.

Another reminder……………Our biggest and best trip of the year has been saved for the year-end graduation camp taking place June 6th -8th. We have combined the graduation camp with the family camp so that the entire family can enjoy the camping experience and the graduation ceremony. We’ll be going up into the Sequoia National Park. You’ll want to register ASAP because space is limited and filling up fast. Please contact the YMCA at 661-253-3593 to register over the phone or drop on in. You can also register online by going to www.ymcala.org/scv and click on the red Online Registration button to register now for YMCA programs.

We're going further up the coast to the El Capitan State Beach for yet another tent camping trip. More fun in the sand and the ocean (hopefully a bit warmer) for all. The cost and the signup procedure is the same. Please check the El Capitan SB website for more information.

The NunPaWaPa Nation of the Y-Guides Program is extending an invitation to the Alliklik Nation for their June 1st event. If you have never seen The Wisdom Tree, I encourage you to attend – it’s a phenomenal experience. Cost is $10 per family and you can register at the Y.
