Y-Guides Nickname Suggestions
New members will need to pick a Y-Guides Program nickname. Put a little bit of thought in to this. Let you and your Child’s imagination go!
Perhaps the easiest way to make a name is to add your favorite color to your favorite animal (e.g. Red Wolf). Really, any adjective or descriptive word for the first part and a noun for the second part will work (e.g. Swift River).
It's always fun to select nicknames that are related for the parent and the child. For example, I am Night Owl and my daughter is Yellow Moon. Big/Little combinations are always good for this (e.g. Big Cloud and Little Thunder). Other suggestions:
- Running Bear - Walking Bear
- Full Moon - Half Moon
- Big Medicine - Little Pill
- Wild Mustang - Wild Pony
- Snow Storm - Snow Bird
- Swift Kick - Swift Foot
